I was going to post something about a week ago, but then I decided to try the Linux LJ client. At which point I had yet another adventure with the configuration management software. A big update got made and I found 20MB of files waiting to be downloaded as soon as I gave the word. That got spread out over a few days. Things are better with the aptitude tool than with dselect, though; aptitude has a command to forget new files, so you can browser them at your leisure, unlike dselect which only gave you one chance to look them over.
Anyway, I finally got “LogJam” installed. Still can’t paste from the clipboard (the same problem as the web interface in Mozilla.) Anyway, we now resume our regularly scheduled journal.
